Members of the Board and their Brief Background
SAI Institute of Technological Science, Cuttack is pleased to constitute the Governing Body under the Chairmanship of the Deputy General Manager at Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela for smooth management of the Institution. The members of the Governing Body are as follows:-

  3. Dr. Sunil Kumar Dhal, Professor, Faculty of Management Studies at Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha.- Member
  4. Er. Sharmistha Das, Deputy Manager at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Sunabeda, Koraput, Odisha- Member
  5. Dr. Suneeta Satpathy, Associate Professor Faculty of Emerging Technologies at Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha.- Member
  6. Puspanjali Mohanty is the Chairman of the Utkal Seva Prakalpa (Trust), She is a social worker of high repute who has contributed her entire life for the development of weaker sections in the society.- Member
  7. Er. Asis Mohanty is the Secretary of Utkal Seva Prakalpa (Trust). He was associated with IT/Manufacture industry more than 9 years like hp, Satyam and Mahindra Satyam.- Member
  8. Er. Manaswini Nayak is HOD Department of Civil Engineering, Sai Institute of Technological Science, Cuttack, Odisha.- Member 
  9. Er. Monalisa Swain is HOD in Department of Electrical Engineering, Sai Institute of Technological Science, Cuttack, Odisha.- Member

In every six month the member of the General Body discuss about the development of Institution.

Nature and Extent of involvement of Faculty and Students in Academic Affairs/ Improvements 
Faculties take regular classes & Laboratories & Workshop classes & impart quality education in the student. Weekly meetings are carried out with active participation of all the faculties & students under the Chairmanship of the Principal to discuss about various developmental works of the Institution.
Mechanism/ Norms and Procedure for Democratic/ Good Governance
The management recognizes the need for decentralization for the growth of the institute and accords autonomy commensurate with the level of management. Principal and heads are appointed who are given autonomy for efficient governance.
The roles and responsibilities of administrators/ decision makers for various assigned jobs listed below clearly depict the delegation of authority, providing operational autonomy leading to a decentralized governance system.
  • Director
To implement and monitor the education system to cater to the institute’s vision and mission and To develop a strategic plan for the growth and image of the institute.
  • Director Administration
Is responsible for supervision and management of all administrative and operational functions.
  • Principal
Is responsible for academic development of the institute and monitors progress of various teaching/ learning processes.
  • Head of the Department
Is responsible for the academic and administrative functions of the department. In addition, Accounts Officer, Librarian, Workshop Superintendent take care of office related activities, finance related issues, library resources and workshop related activities. Other support functions are handled by the Admission-in-charge, Coordinator, College Examination In Charge, Industry Institute Interaction Cell Coordinator.
  • At the Department Level
Preparation of academic calendar based on time frame set by the Council for planning and organizing of activities is done by Time Table co-ordinator.
Each course has a course co-ordinator who, in consultation with the faculty teaching the subject, sets course objectives, prepares the teaching plan for the semester, conducts meetings with faculty regularly to monitor and review course completion and attainment of course outcomes and submits a report of the same to PAC through the module coordinator.
Class teachers/ batch guardians are designated for all classes/ batches.
Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/ Faculty Performance
Student Feedback is taken by online basis to check the performance of the faculties & the improve the quality of education & it is included in the PAR of faculties in each year.
